it's a by week at

Stamping Dragon Designs.  So this week, I made a "jiggy with flowers" happy birthday card.. Since yesterday WAS my birthday, I thought it only fitting!  I used my nesties to cut out the circle around her, and then colored that in with my chalks.  I added blue pearls to give it a little something extra.  I embossed the Happy Birthday sign on a piece of coordinations paper and sanded ti off... SUCH fun! Go check out the design team and see what they've created!!

it's fishy time!

time for another card, for Stamping Dragon Designs! This week, we don't have a sponsored image, so I chose this cute little fish. Isn't he dapper? Looks like he' s ready to go to school!!! **ha ha** I slay me. Get it, fish, school???? lol. Yet, I digress. Make sure you check out the others on the design team and leave them some love! there is some amazing talent there!!Well, I'm out for this week! peace out, girl scout!

it's a "by" week...and I am noticing a trend

a. I am using purple... I have never been a huge purple person... However, this week when I was coloring the digi image for Stamping Dragon, my purple copic was the first one I reached for...this week I used "Penny with bag" image. I chose to do the "spotlight" technique. this is where you only color a 1" circle. I like it because is packs a punch of color into a small space. I used my Bazzil cardstock, a punch by ek success and some ribbon I had in my stash. Make sure you check out the cards that the others on the design team have come up with. They are an amazing bunch of ladies and I am always excited to see what they offer!

Another challenge week

at Stamping Dragon Designs!This week I made a card using one of her images, Jiggy butterflies and some Basic Grey Wisteria design paper and lavender card stock that I had! Look out.... It's 2 in a

row!!! Yup, that's right. I am back to creating! It feels WONDERFUL! It has been so long since I have made anything. This week, I made a card for Stamping Dragon designs, using the Easter Bunny image. Go check out the store and see the papers and images she offers they are nothing short of spectacular!!! Also, check out the challenge board here. The challenge si to make a card and the theme is anything with wings. I hope you play along! Also, please check out the design team member's cards. make sure if yous top by, you leave them some lovin!! (and WHO doesn't love to get some lovin'?????)

For my card, I made an "A2" gate fold. I used design paper to cover each side of the fold, soem embossed papers, ribbon and I borrowed the egg nestie to cut it out, I ran the image through my cuttlebug and used the swiss dot folder. Easy-peasy!

blow the dust off....

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! hee hee. This week, I was asked to be a guest designer for Stamping Dragon Designs!!! She has the CA-UTEST stamps on the planet!!! Check her out! Her stamp sponsor was Whoopsi Daisy, and the challenge was to create a card with anything with wings... the prize for the winner of this challenge is 2 sheets of the winner's choice!! awesome!!! sO, DUST OFF THOSE SUPPLIES and get creating!!! :) What an awesome opportunity to play with some fresh, fun images!
